Red Wattlebird (Anthochaera carunculata)

This large aggressive honeyeater often chases other species away from its favourite flowering trees. You can help other honeyeaters by growing our local native plants that produce lots of nectar. These include Grevilleas, Hakeas, Banksias, Eucalypts, Melaleucas and Callistemons.
