Red-browed Finch (Neochmia temporalis)

This small bird is reasonably common in Campbells Creek. You can encourage it by growing the Wallaby Grass and other native grasses that produce the seeds on which it feeds and by growing prickly leaved native shrubs like our local Bushy Needlewood (Hakea decurrens) for shelter and nesting sites.
